The first book of the Nayakun Series, Ashes, takes place in a fictional time and place. The story, spinning around the conscious coincidences that occur within the life is about the efforts of the people, who follow different courses just to meet at the same point, for reaching the answers they search for in the deep spirals of destiny. Besides, it also presents a roadmap to seize the universal energy by examining the oscillations the preferences made have left while diffusing into eternity after a stroll around the folds of the spectrum of destiny. The storyline developing with a focus on the passions beyond control, the virtuous ideals, the internal reckoning, and the clash of good and evil is progressing in an unpredictable manner by showing crucial sequences from the emotional states of the characters. Revealing important data on the whole of the Nayakun Series, Ashes promises the reader a pleasant adventure by leaving the sealed doors of mysteries of thousand years ajar.

Nayakun; Kalavit dilinde ruh anlamına gelen ‘Naya’ ve evrensel enerji anlamına gelen ‘Kun’ kelimelerinin birleşmesinden oluşmuştur. Nayakun felsefesi, Kalavitler’in yaşam tarzı olan Doka Savaş Sanatı’nın özünü oluşturmaktadır. Nayakun; is a word formed by the combination of two words in Kalavit language, ‘Naya’, which means spirit, and ‘Kun’, which represents the universal energy. Nayakun philosophy forms the basis of Doka Martial Arts, which is esentially a life style for Kalavits. It mainly represents the efforts of the human being who tries to reach the depths of his soul with the intention to realize and sense ‘Kun’, the energy which rules the universe. In this respect, it symbolizes a spiritual journey aiming to awaken the natural and pure perception capability that inherently exists in each human being.

According to Kalavit gurus, life - in the way most humans see it - is full of illusions that are produced by the mind. The eyes see and interpret everything under the influence and bias of personal prejudices and passions of the mind. The human being who habitually got used to this kind of distorted perception, becomes a slave of illusions and moves away from its very core. With the internal discipline that Nayakun offers, all these illusions are discarded and a pure perceptive viewpoint which can sense life in its true wholeness is developed.

Süleyman Akdoğan: >> www.nayakun.com/#/yazar/ : Süleyman Akdoğan, 1977 İzmir doğumlu. Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi İşletme Fakültesi’nden 2000 yılında mezun oldu. Aynı yıl İstanbul’a yerleşti. Farklı bankalarda denetim ve krediler departmanlarında görev aldı. Mesleği dolayısıyla Türkiye’nin hemen her yerini gezdi. Farklı vesilelerle, Avrupa’nın birçok ülkesinde bulundu. Seyahatleri sırasında edindiği izlenimler ve tanıştığı insanların hikayeleri, yazın anlayışının tohumlarını attı. Evrensel enerji ve mistik savaş sanatlarına olan ilgisini ‘Nayakun’ adını verdiği kurgusal bir felsefe dahilinde anlatmak için yola koyuldu.

Born in Izmir, 1977, Süleyman Akdoğan graduated from the School of Business Administration, Dokuz Eylul University in 2000. The same year, he settled in Istanbul. Serving in audit and credits departments of different banks, Akdoğan has visited almost everywhere in Turkey, as well as traveling to many European countries on different occasions. The impressions he had gained and the stories of the people he had met during his travels have sown the seeds of his perception of writing. Then, he has set off to relate his interest in the universal energy and the mystical arts of war within a fictional philosophy he calls ‘Nayakun’.
